Job Description The NJ Judiciary is seeking askilled, experienced and energetic consultant who is well-versed in WebFOCUS 8to write and develop reports (in both GUI and source code) and create HTML UserInterfaces within the WebFocus environment. Note: remote position. The consultant will be responsible for evaluating how the existing reports arewritten, determining what fields were used, analyzing the report structure, aswell as designing, coding and testing each of the reports. The consultant willbe involved in maintaining (including production support), enhancing existingreports, and developing new projects from scratch. The consultant must have a broad range of skills, a general knowledge ofWebFOCUS internals, and the understanding of associated technologies thatWebFOCUS uses (PDF, EXCEL, HTML, AHTML and WORD as output formats). Theprogrammer will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving productionissues related to legacy and new-development reports. This is a professional level non-supervisory position which will requirecoordination of programming activities being conducted by the Team Lead inassociation within the existing structure, rules and guidelines of the currentAOC WebReporting environment. This person will confer with other business andtechnical personnel who own data in various other systems stemming from manystored sources of information (DB2, Sybase, SQL, Mainframe Flat Files, etc.). Skills/Qualifications: Must be able to compare actual project procedures to the specified standardsand procedures Should be able to demonstrate expertise with the most recent and relevanttechnologies in the WebFocus environment Must have excellent communication skills and possess the ability tocollaborate with internal and external groups including vendors Skills: * Reports development utilizing Information Builders' WebFocus * User Interface Design / HTML * Experience with GUI / User Interface driven by dynamic parameter drivenreporting selection criteria * JavaScript / CSS * Business and System Analysis * Report Development Skills The ideal candidate can: Demonstrate expertise in teaching, conveying technical and or functionalcourses and concepts Develop appropriate work programs utilizing time-management effectively withregard to scheduled tasks and assignments Identify improvements to project standards to achieve high quality services and products Responsibilities: * Analyze user requirements for remaining conversion projects * Collaborate with application teams on setting up users, data, etc. * Identify and document system defects * Communicate clearly and effectively in written and spoken English The consultant will be required to work independently at their own definedlocation and as a member of a team. Independent work will consist of, but notlimited to, design, prototyping and documentation. Team work will consist ofcollaboratively connecting with another analyst remotely to bring the projectto the end user as well as participate at two scheduled weekly meetings.
