| Role : Workday Technical Expert REMOTE - Must work EST hours Only Gc or USC Client : Freedom Mortgage This role is a functional role - leading the Workday implementation - I am not seeking a Workday Developer. Solid background in with Workday HCM & Security - Compensation, Recruiting, Payroll, Benefits and Absence. Summary: As the Associate Director, Workday Technical Expert, you will be responsible for leading and managing the technical aspects of our Workday implementation, ensuring the optimal system functionality and integration. This role requires excellent technical skills with a passion for delivering the best possible results, all while ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of Workday projects. Must have a proven track record of success in leading complex Workday implementations and managing cross-functional teams. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: Oversee the technical configuration, customization, and maintenance of the Workday system. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective Workday solutions. Design, implement, and manage integrations between Workday and other systems, ensuring seamless data flow. Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, maintaining data accuracy and consistency. Manage Workday security protocols and configurations to ensure data privacy and compliance with regulatory standards. Conduct regular audits to identify and address potential security risks. Stay informed about Workday updates and new features, evaluating their impact on our organization. Plan and execute system upgrades, working closely with vendors and internal stakeholders. Provide technical support to end-users, addressing inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely manner. Collaborate with the IT helpdesk to escalate and manage complex technical problems. Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for configurations, customizations, and integrations. Develop training materials and conduct sessions to empower end-users with Workday technical knowledge. Collaborate with HR, Finance, and IT leaders to align Workday strategies with overall business objectives. Lead a team of technical professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a collaborative work environment. Maintain regular and punctual attendance. Performs other related duties as assigned. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. 8-10 years of extensive experience in Workday implementation, configuration, and support. Strong understanding of Workday modules such as HCM, Compensation, Recruiting, Payroll, Benefits and Absence. Proven experience with Workday integrations, EIBs, and calculated field. In-depth knowledge of Workday security, compliance, and data protection.
