The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, statistical modeling, and machine learning algorithms. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to develop, implement, and maintain machine learning models that drive business decisions and enhance our product offerings. Key Responsibilities Model Development: Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models to solve business problems such as predictive analytics, classification, clustering, and recommendation systems. Data Analysis: Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to understand data distributions, detect anomalies, and identify patterns. Feature Engineering: Create and select relevant features from raw data to improve model performance and accuracy. Model Evaluation: Use appropriate metrics to evaluate model performance and validate model accuracy, precision, recall, F1-score, ROC-AUC, etc. Data Preprocessing: Clean and preprocess data, handle missing values, and normalize/standardize datasets for optimal model performance. Deployment: Implement models in production using MLOps best practices, ensuring scalability and reliability. Collaboration: Work with software engineers, data engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to integrate machine learning solutions into business processes and products. Documentation: Document methodologies, processes, and findings to ensure reproducibility and knowledge sharing within the team. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and techniques in machine learning and data science. Continuously improve models and algorithms. Required Qualifications Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field. A Ph.D. is a plus. Experience: 3+ years of experience in data science and machine learning, with a proven track record of deploying models in production environments. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python and/or R. Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, and scikit-learn. Strong understanding of supervised and unsupervised learning techniques. Experience with data visualization tools like Matplotlib, Seaborn, and Tableau. Proficient in SQL for data extraction and manipulation. Data Handling: Experience in data wrangling, preprocessing, and transformation. Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and ability to conduct deep data analysis. Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
