| .Net Architect Location - Onsite in Chicago 12 Months Contract Role: We are looking for a Senior DotNet Core developer to help us prosper our massive existing codebase around Pricing, Accounting and Regulatory space. We are looking to enhance the suite extensively in the coming months in terms of both functional enhancements and non-functional critical C# related upgrades for a key client. We are looking for the candidate to join the team as an individual contributor and help us move aforementioned upgrades along. The candidate is expected to have worked with minimal technical supervision in the past and should have the ability to drive complex changes on their own. Overall experience Level: (14+ yrs.) Qualifications: Minimum of 7 years experience with DotNet and C# along with significant exposure to working on complex projects with cross functional teams. Knowledge of DotNetCore frameworks like Microsoft.AspNetCore.Authentication, Microsoft.EntityFrameworkCore.SqlServer and so forth. The candidate should have experience in working with a relational database and associated query language, preferably SQL Server/T-SQL. GoLang or Node.JS development experience would be highly desired. Tasks & responsibilities: Developing new greenfield and brownfield products using DotNet/C#. Building reusable components and back-end libraries for future use. Write secure, functional and efficient C# code. Responsible for efficiently working with other teams in the organization on cross-team initiatives. Optimizing various back-end modules for maximum performance across a vast array of internal and external consumers using desktop or web clients. Secondary Skills: Highly motivated, self-directed and possesses solid execution skills. Demonstrates critical thinking and probes beyond the surface of the requested data to get at the valuable (actionable) information. Able to understand complex technical concepts quickly. Detail oriented but understands broader impacts of requests. Adjusts quickly to changing priorities as necessary. Manages multiple tasks and deliverables simultaneously and in an organized and results-oriented manner. Strives to proactively identify and address areas where business process efficiency and effectiveness improvements would make a positive impact on the top and bottom lines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Possesses a strong analytical, quantitative and objective outlook.
