The candidate interviewing must be the same individual who will be assigned to work with our client. Requirements: Availability to work 100% at the Clients site in Miami, FL (required); Experience working as an IT Database Administrator; Experience in Oracle Database administration; Experience in IBM Distributed DB2. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Manage and administer Oracle databases, ensuring optimal performance, security, and availability. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as database backups, restores, and patches to maintain data integrity and system stability. Monitor database performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize SQL queries and database configurations for improved efficiency. Implement and maintain database security measures, including user access controls, encryption, and data masking to safeguard sensitive information. Troubleshoot database issues, diagnose problems, and implement solutions to minimize downtime and ensure uninterrupted service. Support and maintain IBM Distributed DB2 databases, including installation, configuration, and ongoing management tasks.
