"Seeking an experienced Database Analyst Level 4 with expertise in designing and developing Microsoft SQL Server data structures, optimizing interactions with and within the database (SQL, stored procedures, ETL, etc.), in accordance with business, data security and regulatory requirements as well as legislative mandates and court findings.

Maintains data storage and access by evaluating, designing and implementing company database[s]. Identifies data sources, constructs data decomposition diagrams, provides data flow diagrams and documents the process. Writes codes for database access, modifications and constructions. Relies on established guidelines and instructions to perform daily job functions. Works under immediate supervision and usually reports to a manager.

Bachelors degree in a related area and relevant experience.

Full-time professional work experience in Software Development, Maintenance, or Implementation.

Successfully completion of an Information Technology Certification program, may substitute for the required work experience with a maximum substitution of two (2) years. (Proof of certification must accompany application.)

Two (2) years of work experience as a Data Administrator; Data Warehousing Administrator; Data Architect; Database Analyst-Intermediate; Data Warehousing Analyst may substitute for all of the required experience.

Responsibilities:

Develop database structure and process changes based on specifications established during weekly Sprint planning sessions and following data standards based on existing datatype standards where available and appropriate; address standards published by the United States Postal Service as an example.

Comply with data security and access models.

Comply with Federal regulations for CCWIS (Comprehensive Child Welfare Information System) design, development, deployment, and maintenance.

Follow a data (or database) change request process with the developer and Data Resource Management teams."
