We are seeking a seasoned Senior SQL Developer to play a critical role in developing and maintaining the clients business systems and integrations, working under the guidance of management. This role involves a wide range of responsibilities from coding to security, with an emphasis on creating robust and efficient database solutions. This is a full-time, long-term contract, and 100% remote. What Youll Do Develop and enhance web-based and desktop applications as per identified requirements Collaborate effectively with various IT teams to ensure a cohesive working environment Conduct rigorous testing of programs and databases, correct any errors, and perform necessary modifications to ensure optimal performance Design and implement security measures to protect data against unauthorized access, damage, modification, or disclosure Create detailed application models to describe data elements, application code, and their usage, utilizing various tools and software Devise methods for the integration of diverse products, ensuring they operate cohesively and meet specific business requirements Enforce business rules through the use of stored procedures, middleware, and other relevant technologies Provide accurate project estimates in terms of time and cost based on user needs and project requirements Generate comprehensive reference and workflow documentation to support system understanding and maintenance Stay abreast of industry trends in application systems, offering information and advice to key stakeholders such as the Agile Applications Manager, Director of Business Systems, and/or Chief Information Officer Handle tickets from the Azure DevOps System, documenting both the issues encountered and their resolutions within the system Participate in the development, implementation, and maintenance of business systems' functional architecture and detailed design, ensuring alignment with user and organizational needs Contribute to long-range strategic planning for the enhancement, upgrade, or change of business systems What Youll Need Proven experience as a SQL Developer or similar role, preferably in the healthcare sector Familiarity with healthcare systems and claims processing Strong knowledge of application development and system integrations Experience with Azure DevOps System or similar tools Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to document solutions effectively Ability to estimate project timelines and costs accurately Strong understanding of database security protocols and best practices Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with IT teams and management Adept at long-range planning and providing strategic input for business systems enhancements Physical Demands Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc. Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor Thanks & Regards Andrew Symonds Senior IT Recruiter (302) 318-9133 (Direct) Email: [email protected] Keywords: information technology Sr SQL Developer MUST have EDI claims experience and Quevera - Remote -10+Years [email protected] |
