The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining advanced Tableau reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making processes across the organization.Key Responsibilities: Dashboard Development: Design, develop, and maintain advanced Tableau dashboards and visualizations. Translate complex business requirements into functional and technical specifications. Implement best practices in data visualization to ensure clear and effective communication of data insights. Data Integration: Connect Tableau to various data sources, including databases, cloud services, and spreadsheets. Perform data blending, joining, and transformation to prepare data for analysis. Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency in all reports and visualizations. Collaboration and Support: Work closely with business stakeholders, data analysts, and other developers to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs. Provide support and training to end-users on Tableau functionalities and best practices. Optimization and Maintenance: Optimize the performance of Tableau reports and dashboards. Maintain and update existing Tableau solutions as needed. Monitor and troubleshoot issues with Tableau Server and Tableau Online environments. Documentation and Standards: Develop and maintain documentation for all Tableau development processes, including design specifications, user guides, and best practices. Adhere to and promote the adoption of data governance and security policies.Required Qualifications: Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field. Masters degree preferred. Experience: 5+ years of experience in developing and implementing Tableau solutions. Proven track record of creating complex dashboards and visualizations in Tableau. Experience with data warehousing, data modeling, and ETL processes. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, and Tableau Online. Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL). Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, R) is a plus. Familiarity with other BI tools (e.g., Power BI, QlikView) is a plus. Soft Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.Preferred Qualifications: Tableau Certification (e.g., Tableau Desktop Certified Professional). Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure). Knowledge of data visualization principles and best practices.
