Job Position : Server Side programmer - Java/Node JS Job Location : Remote Job Duration : 12 Months Job Description: We need to find a skilled person to fill this position. The person can work remotely but should be available during PST time zone. H1 status is acceptable. We are looking for a strong Java/Node JS profile with good coding skills and hands-on experience in server-side programming. JOB DUTIES: Responsibilities - Develop and manage backend services using Java, Node.js, and TypeScript. - Work together with Product Strategy and Product Team leaders to understand Roadmap priorities and provide technical advice to align team resources accordingly. - Collaborate with team members to create loosely coupled, easy-to-maintain backend systems. - Communicate with stakeholders to clarify requirements, refine functionality, and contribute to the overall success of the product. - Plan, prioritize, and estimate work in a remote, distributed team environment. Job Requirements: Required Duties: - At least 15-20 years of experience in backend software development, preferably using Java or NodeJS in Agile SDLC. - Proficiency in relational databases (MariaDB/MySQL preferred). - Proficiency with in-memory data-stores (Redis, Memcached). - Proficiency in building and scaling REST APIs. - Proficiency with GraphQL services (Apollo). - Strong organizational and analytical skills. - Strong knowledge of Hibernate, Spring and JUnit frameworks. - Proficiency in microservice architecture at scale. - Experience with pub-sub and queue-based messaging systems (Kafka, Redis). - Excellent experience in troubleshooting and debugging backend services. - Must be legally authorized to work in the United States - Familiarity with Java profiling tools. - Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, CI/CD. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in machine learning, generative AI, LLMs, OpenAI. - Experience building integration with third-party APIs (ex: Meta GraphAPI) and scale for high volume data processing. - Experience in building auto scale multi-threaded services. - Experience in SQL query optimization.
