(Day 1 On-Site- Hybrid Module- 2 DAYS ON-SITE IN D.C.- The Client will only consider local candidates of Washington, D.C. or Tri-State Area Candidates) Duration: 12+ Month Contract MOI: Phone then Video Interview Max Rate: $37-40/hr on C2C Max. No H1B/TN/CPT-EAD/OPT-EAD (Need LinkedIn URL Need 2 Managerial References of the candidate with their official e-mail and contact details The resume of the candidate should not be more longer and more than 4-5 page and no bullet points should be repeated (The Candidates profiles should not be submitted to Dexian- Disys for the past 6 Month) Job Description : Junior Linux Admin ROLE IS 2 DAYS ON-SITE IN D.C. LONG TERM JUNIOR LINUX ADMINISTRATOR PYTHON What he wants is someone who is a junior level person, more of a support role. Not really a ton of development, just someone to maintain non production instances Junior, maybe fresh out of college- 2-3 max, someone who knows linux, shell scripting, and python. If they have those skills they will train them up on the numerix servers they will be supporting. Users are mainly in Chennai, Singapore, and hq. Someone willing and excited to learn, at least want someone to stick around. Srikanth etc. will be busy with other projects, so need someone to take care of day to day maintenance. Day to Day: Mostly responding to tickets via email- i.e. Hey I need my instance of numerix refreshed with production I need a new account, etc.- maybe the occasional patch or something. Will train them up on numerix cots app running on linux servers, so just writing a shell script, maintaining, etc. Dont really care about the version of linux- they use redhat, but commands are the same. No installations or applying patches on OS level, just a general knowledge of linux/unix. Just general python knowledge- 6/10 ish.
