Role: WebFOCUS Developer, Location: 100% Remote Duration: 3 Months+ Interview Process: Apex Technical Screening followed by Video I/V with Client Project Details We are moving our main WebFOCUS Data source from Walker to S4 Hana and for this migration we will need to move/re-write the SQL queries and re-write many of our existing WebFOCUS reports. In addition to solid WebFOCUS experience we need an individual who can review existing SQL queries and re-write SQL queries in the to pull the data from the new data source (SAP S4 Hana). Day-to-Day Responsibilities Delivery and maintenance of outstanding reporting applications A willingness to dive into software environments and technical issues Maintaining the skills necessary to manage and advocate new products and solutions Provide technical assistance to the BI team as well as internal business users Strong debugging abilities Maintain good source control and documentation of application code and standards Candidate should have a proven track record of being able to plan, prioritize, estimate, and deliver projects on time Constant evaluation of code efficiency and SQL optimization experience Requirements 5+ years of experience with Business Intelligence with 2+ years working with WebFOCUS 5+ years of SQL experience including creating tables, spaces and SQL queries. 2+ years of SQL query optimization. Experience with WebFOCUS 8.x Experience developing reports using InfoAssist and AppStudio Experience developing dashboards and portals using Designer Experience scheduling jobs with WebFOCUS ReportCaster Intermediate to advanced fluency in the FOCUS reporting language and styling Thorough understanding of all aspects of WebFOCUS metadata Familiarity with HTML, JavaScript, CSS and other Web components Experience with SAP products, specifically S4 Hana would be desirable but not required.
