Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Datastage Developer to join our team and support ongoing enhancement and project workstreams in an Enterprise Data Warehouse team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Datastage development and PL/SQL development, demonstrating the ability to effectively handle data migration, perform code conversions, and support data integration processes. This role will require a strong understanding of banking systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful completion of the project. Responsibilities: Collaborate with project stakeholders to understand data integration requirements and system functionalities. Develop and implement Datastage solutions to effectively migrate data from legacy systems to the target platform. Perform code conversions and enhancements as needed to ensure seamless integration and functionality of the merged banking systems. Monitor data integration processes and troubleshoot any issues or discrepancies encountered. Conduct thorough testing and validation of Datastage jobs to ensure data accuracy and consistency. Work closely with the data modeling team to optimize data structures and improve system performance. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of Datastage processes, job designs, and data flows. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts and QA analysts, to ensure smooth project execution and successful delivery. Skill Requirements: Bachelor\\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Strong experience in Datastage development, including solid knowledge of ETL concepts, Datastage Job Design, and Datastage Parallel Processing. Proficiency in PL/SQL development, with a strong understanding of Oracle database structures, stored procedures, and performance tuning. Solid understanding of data migration and code conversion processes in the banking or financial services industry. Proven ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to quickly identify and resolve data integration issues. Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced project environment with tight deadlines. Familiarity with banking systems and processes is preferred. Knowledge of data modeling tools and methodologies is a plus. Certification in Datastage or PL/SQL is an added advantage.
