Candidates must reside in DV region Duration: 12 months Project Summary: Abidi Solutions seeks a Senior Ab Initio Developer to assist in developing data pipelines that transfer data from multiple mainframe source systems to various cloud and on-prem databases at our client. Essential Functions: Work with Business Analysts and Product team to gather data requirements. Design and Build AbInitio data graphs and data pipelines to extract data from various databases/flat files/message queues. Transform data to create a consumable data layer for various application uses. Support Data pipeline with bug fixes and additional enhancements. Document Technical design, Operational Runbook, etc. Top Five Skills Required: 7+ Years of IT Experience predominantly in Data Integration/Data Warehouse space. 3+ years of ETL Design and Development experience using Ab Initio. 1+ year of Data Integration experience on the Hadoop Platform, preferably using Cloudera. Strong experience with SQL and ability to write well-performing SQL queries. Experience with Unix/Linux shell scripting for running and deploying Ab Initio jobs. Nice to have skills: Prior experience supporting the Cloudera data platform. Experience working/implementing Ab Initio CDC (Change Data Capture) in a Data Integration/ETL project. Experience with Ab Initio Continuous Flows. Previous healthcare experience. Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering.
