| Job Title: Cyber Security Assurance and Design Consultant Location: Remote Duration: 12 Months Contract Rate: DOE Visa: H1B, GC & USC Client: HCSC Share Your Updated Resume [email protected] Description: Duties and Responsibilities The Security Consultant is responsible advising security engineering teams on best practices and ensuring technology initiatives are implemented within the framework to make premise and cloud environments more secure. The incumbent is accountable for securing enterprise information by identifying network and application security requirements, planning, implementing, and testing security controls and procedures across multiple projects. Network security experience managing sensitive assets in a corporation and had experience implementing controls and carrying out security assessments with a focus on risk. The ideal candidate has experience implementing microservices to enable asking the right questions when important integrations with PaaS and SaaS vendors are integrating with enterprise systems. Candidates go beyond the basic approaches to security, and understand security involves having a broad perspective to enhance security. Understanding the various ways in which information can be exfiltrated from the internal network is critical. Understanding how the cryptographic keys are stored is also critical. Understanding how sensitive information the internal network and to outside third parties is critical. Experience and understanding of Service Management Interface with customers to facilitate in the creation of moderately complex IT security architecture, analysis, and engineering solutions to translate user requirements to solutions. Strong organizational, analytical, and troubleshooting skills, including the troubleshooting and debugging technologies. Ability to create and manage documentation such as technical requirement catalogs, Visio diagrams, and technical strategy presentations. Technical Skills Required Identity and Access and Privileged Access Management Technologies Deep knowledge of security frameworks, such as ISO/IEC 27001, NIST 800-53, OWASP, Trust Services, PCI and HIPAA Knowledge of host hardening, auditing, logging and monitoring, network security, SEIM deployments, security analytics, anomaly detection, PKI Demonstrated experience in Information Assurance and security engineering principles involving application security, security testing, communications / network security, computer security and other areas of Information Assurance. Demonstrated knowledge of cyber security through all layers of the Open Systems Interconnect (OSI) stack. Strong understanding and experience in NATing, VPNs, Content Filtering, SSL Interception/Decryption, PKI, IDS/IPS, NAC, and AAA The ability to read and interpret complex solutions architecture diagrams and translate them into security views. Ability to identify security risks and communicate identified risks to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Ensure enterprise security standards are being met during project planning and activity phases by developing solutions that will meet business requirements and be standards compliant. Technical Skills Preferred Enterprise Mobility and Security Suite (EM+S), Advanced Threat Protection (ATP), Azure Information Protection (AIP) and Intune Enterprise Architecture and Security management Experience following standardized engineering life-cycle processes and tailoring processes when appropriate. Strong understanding and experience in Switching, Routing (Dynamic and Static) Minimum Education/Certification Required Bachelors degree in information systems, Information Technology (IT), Computer Science, Engineering, or other technical / IT field and at least 5+ years of relevant enterprise experience in Enterprise Architecture, and Security Engineering.
