Job Title: Identity Manager

Department: IT/Security

Reports To: Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) / IT Director

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Identity Manager to join our team. The Identity Manager will be responsible for overseeing the identity and access management (IAM) functions within the organization. This includes ensuring the security, efficiency, and reliability of identity management systems and processes, managing user identities, and enforcing access policies to protect company assets.

Key Responsibilities:
IAM Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive IAM strategies and policies that align with the organizations security and business objectives.
System Management: Oversee the installation, integration, and management of IAM systems, including user directories, identity governance, and access management tools.
Access Control: Manage role-based access controls (RBAC), ensuring appropriate access levels are assigned and maintained according to user roles and responsibilities.
User Lifecycle Management: Handle the entire lifecycle of user identities, including provisioning, de-provisioning, and updates in response to organizational changes.
Authentication Management: Implement and manage multi-factor authentication (MFA) and single sign-on (SSO) solutions to enhance security.
Compliance and Audit: Ensure IAM practices comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies. Prepare and support audits related to identity and access management.
Incident Response: Respond to security incidents related to identity and access management, conducting investigations and taking corrective actions.
Collaboration: Work closely with IT, security, HR, and other departments to ensure seamless integration and operation of IAM processes.
Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users and IT staff on IAM best practices and policies.
Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of IAM processes, configurations, and changes.

Qualifications:
Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Masters degree preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in identity and access management or a related field.
Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Identity and Access Manager (CIAM), or similar are highly desirable.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency with IAM tools and technologies (e.g., Okta, Azure AD, SailPoint, Ping Identity).
Strong understanding of security protocols, authentication, and authorization mechanisms.
Knowledge of directory services (e.g., LDAP, Active Directory).
Experience with cloud-based IAM solutions and hybrid environments.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Leadership: Proven ability to lead and manage IAM projects and initiatives.
Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Adaptability: Ability to adapt to new technologies and stay current with industry trends and best practices.

Working Conditions:
This role typically operates in an office environment, with some flexibility for remote work.
Occasional travel may be required for conferences, training, or collaboration with other offices.
