IS TECHNICAL SPECIALIST SENIOR Location-Columbus OH (Hybrid) Contract To Hire Visa - USC-GC-GCEAD 4 month to Hire Description We are currently accepting resumes for a IS Technical Specialist Senior position in Columbus, OH.(Hybrid) The selected candidate will perform the following duties: The Responsible Technology Manager is responsible for the maintenance of specific applications or functions of those applications within the Collections/Recovery area. Duties and Responsibilities: Ensures systems are running and can troubleshoot issues. Working knowledge of applications and batch processes. First line of defense for system outage Works with partner IT teams to troubleshoot issues related to system issues and/or prepare for events affecting the systems Primary resource for any infrastructure/regulatory/audit related projects User Access Reviews, understanding user roles, access, and entitlements. Understand and execute privileged access management and rotating passwords. Maintaining the CMBD entries for applications Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity planning Certification renewal and maintenance Understanding and mitigating security incidents Maintain Team on call schedule and updates to Service Now Attending mandatory daily/weekly meetings for system outages and incident management Required Skills and Experience Bachelor's Degree 5+ years related experience Experience with Linux, AIX servers. Red Hat. Oracle Databases Experience with DR planning Password Management CMDB management experience Ability to understand/read code Preferred Skills and Experience Ability to write code, if necessary Work well in a team environment. Ability to take on issues and bring them to completion making sure a consistent delivery process is followed. Self-motivated and able to lead others.
