Job Title: Data Analyst Location: Windsor, CT (Hybrid) Duration: Long Term Responsibilities: Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and understand requirements for data-related projects. Translate business needs into technical specifications and requirements for developers. Utilize SQL expertise to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources. Design and implement data models and databases to support business needs. Provide guidance and support to developers throughout the development process. Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive business decisions. Develop reports and dashboards to visualize data and communicate findings to stakeholders. Perform data validation and quality assurance to ensure accuracy and consistency. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in data analysis, ETL, and business requirements writing. Requirement: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in business requirements writing, specifically in data-related projects. Strong background in SQL and experience with ETL processes and tools. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with business users and developers. Ability to translate complex business requirements into clear and actionable technical specifications. Proficiency in data analysis and problem-solving. Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI is a plus. Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R is desirable. Proven ability to work independently and in a team environment. Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
