| UI Developer(10+ years) Location: Houston, TX. Local Candidates Only. No relocation Candidates acceptable. Visa: No H1B & CPT Duration: 12 months contract Client: United Airlines Summary: This role will be supporting the Crew Facing Technology Team. This project development phase aka "Trip Trade, will enable pilots to leverage this internal application to bid and trade on scheduled shifts. Candidates MUST have large corporate enterprise experience, preferably in airlines (Crew facing apps a plus!). Additionally, candidates must have experience with Figma and preferably Angular version 17 Detailed job description :- Required Skills: CSS/HTML, Angular Components from Figma Job Duties: Be an active participant in all scrum ceremonies and lead in the delivery of the strategic roadmap. Define project scope & specifications, estimate resources required to develop the proposed solution. Ensure that specifications and requirements are clearly articulated to the development teams and monitoring timelines & progress. Propose the technical solutions. Partner with the Design team to consume wireframes/JS/HTML from Envision. Delivery well-designed, high-quality, fully functional, properly tested features, fixes, and enhacements. Responsible for the full application development lifecycle and support. Define and document best practices and strategies regarding application deployment and infrastructure maintenance. Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and new technologies and presenting these for architectural review. Troubleshooting and debugging to optimize performance. Provide subject matter expertise and direction, guidance, and support on complex engagements. Job Requirements: Top: 10+ years of software development 5+ years of experience in front-end development including Angular (v17, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, Ajax, Json, Capacitor) Design pattern Testing frameworks Skilled with RxJS Subject & Observable Experience with MVC, MVVM architecture and a variety of design patterns. Experience in using Jasmine and/or Karma or similar testing frameworks Secondary: Experience with consuming .Net API's Experience with ADO and Github or similar. Experience with high volume, high transactional application development. Load testing preferred. Highly skilled with responsive & progressive web app that are consumed by mobile apps.
