Job Title: Quality Assurance Engineer Type: 12mon Contract (with possible extension) Location: Rock Island, IL (Hybrid, 3 Days Onsite) Visa: USC/GC Candidates Responsibilities: Work through all phases of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) which includes gathering and analyzing business requirements, functional/technical specifications, testing, deploying the applications and providing support for web and windows applications using .Net technologies. Performing web service testing, system testing, integration testing and user acceptance testing and Recommending improvement based on test results. Extensive integration testing with APIs (Application Programming Interface). Creation of Dynamic API test cases for automation. Mapping requirement to test cases upload the same in Azure Executing test scenarios, test cases, creating and executing Automation scripts and tracking defects to ensure that applications meet technical and business requirements. Follow up on defects resolution with the development/support teams Escalate, if the defects resolutions are taking more than SLAs defined in Test Plan. Work with SQL databases to insert, update and retrieve information. Project planning and development using agile methodology with bi weekly sprints. Prepare time estimates for future work and work on multiple projects simultaneously. In addition, will use the following tools and technologies to perform the job functions listed: Windows, Azure DevOps, Swagger, SQL Developer, Test NG, Selenium Web Driver, SharePoint, JIRA, OnBase, ServiceNow, MS SQL Server.
