Position: COLDFUSION/POWERBUILDER DEVELOPER Location: 100% Remote Duration: 6 Months Job Description: TOP Skills Needed: 1. ColdFusion web app development and maintenance 2. PowerBuilder (client server apps development and maintenance) 3. API, JavaScript 4. PowerShell and windows batch scripting If the person has RPA, that is a big plus but first and foremost, we need a ColdFusion Developer which they use for their web apps (webforms, web backend) and then we also need this person to have some decent PowerBuilder skills for the client server apps. JOB DESCRIPTION: The candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the IT systems that are unique to the operation of Procurement Services using PowerBuilder, API, ColdFusion, JavaScript, web development, Robotic Process Automation (RPA) configurations, and other skills. Proven ability to translate requirements into high-quality source code that delivers complete applications within deadlines. Demonstrates quality service and accountability in the process of addressing issues from initial awareness through restoration or implementation, meeting or exceeding established performance metrics, and accurate data for incident and change management. Carry out regular security and performance checks. Collaborating with team members, updating departmental web page layout to meet current business needs, or providing support for the procurement eCommerce sale and auction site. Monitor, evaluate, and update applications as needed to ensure code structures promote a secure user experience and protect data. Develop technical handbooks that capture the design, code, and troubleshooting aspects of new applications. Design automation processes as per the operational needs. Proficiency in all of the following technologies: PowerShell and Windows batch scripting Experience with RPA Bot creation using Automation Anywhere Awareness of authentication configurations using SSO concepts and tools such as Shibboleth Experience using code repositories, such as GIT Minimum of two years of experience supporting current general computer applications (e.g. Microsoft Office, Google suite, etc.) and proficiency with asset management processes and tools. Understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle and the use of the IT Service management framework Remote Work is approved for this position.
