Implementing security model, monitoring, and alerting, maintaining high availability) Petroni (Deployment/Scaling/HA tool used with PostgreSQL) They are on the data side of things new databases, performance issues, slow running queries, etc. Overall Project : heavy Postgres, Development team reaches out for new database or access group. This resource will set up everything to deploy code/servers/etc. COMMUNICATION SKILLS ARE KEY !!!! PostgreSQL Administrative experience (specifically implementing security model, monitoring, and alerting, maintaining high availability) Understand how permissions are applied at database level Troubleshoot login/permissions issues encountered by users/applications Thorough understanding of how PG permissions are granted for existing and future objects Excellent communication skills- need to be able to talk to both business folk and technical folk, good with follow-up and documentation SQL Server need to know differences and similarities in comparison to PostgreSQL Collaborative- need to be able to show/explain/teach ideas to the rest of the team DevOps experience. Not necessarily DOING this, but have an understanding.
