The Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst will function as a BI analytic tool expert providing reporting, dashboard development, and training as needed. Serves as a key resource for interpreting data and information; communicates results to team members. Operates as the primary contact between departments to facilitate the delivery of business intelligence solutions. Works closely with project managers and operations to coordinate cross-functional project activities and ensures deliverables are accurate and meet customer requirements. Utilizes business intelligence tools across all departments and functional areas providing detailed reporting and analysis. Assesses analytics and reporting needs; provides recommendations for enhanced solutions and specifications for business intelligence tools. Manages the delivery of BI solutions to internal and external customers. Ensures reporting needs across process areas are prioritized to support deployment strategies and business needs. Establish protocols to extract data in a standardized process from a variety of data sources. Define and develop data management standards and processes to effectively manage data through the reporting life cycle. Performs data mining of customer and sales force information for all market segments. Maintains and develops strong working relationships with business owners as a process advocate. Requirements: Requires training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer science, or analytics generally obtained through completion of a four-year bachelor's degree program. Requires a minimum of 5 years direct progressively responsible experience with strong analytics and reporting experience. Ability to effectively manage and participate in cross-functional problem-solving teams. Strong business planning, analytical and conceptual skills to evaluate business problems and identify and apply appropriate solutions. Strong business acumen. Experience with business intelligence tools, capabilities, and best practices. Power BI and/or Tableau experience preferred. Strong presentation skills. Strong project management skills. Ability to handle a variety of tasks simultaneously. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Excellent judgment and decision-making skills. Strong interpersonal skills. Strong organizational skills; attention to detail. Experience with SQL with an understanding of data modeling and data management.
