Position: Websphere Commerce Developer Location: Issaquah, WA (Hybrid) Responsibilities Participate in requirements gathering sessions to understand business needs Design, develop, and implement WCS functionalities and enhancements Work on both front-end and back-end components of the e-commerce platform Integrate WCS with external systems and APIs Develop and maintain unit and integration tests Perform data conversion and cutover activities during deployments Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues Stay up-to-date on the latest WCS features and best practices Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience) Minimum 4+ years of experience developing e-commerce applications using Websphere Commerce Strong understanding of WCS concepts like BODs, REST APIs, and commerce modules Experience with J2EE architecture and development (JSP, servlets, etc.) Experience with web services (SOAP and REST) and integration tools Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Preferred Qualifications Experience with WCS v9.x or later Experience with one or more WCS sub-systems (Order, Catalog, Marketing, etc.) Experience with WCS development tools (CMC, Accelerator, DataLoad) Experience with cloud deployments (IBM Commerce on Cloud) Experience with e-commerce best practices and trends Thanks, and Regards Himanshu Sharma | Talent Acquisition Specialist Amaze Systems Inc.
