Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Information Security Specialist to join our team in Cincinnati, OH. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing, refining, and recommending improvements to the Information Security operating model, enterprise policies, standards, and processes. This role involves providing reporting and recommendations to the CIO, CISO, and senior leadership to reduce enterprise risk. (Contract) Role: - Data Governance and Information Security Specialist Location: Cincinnati, OH Client is TCS Technical/Functional Skills Essential Skills: Basic knowledge of risk assessment and control methods. Strong understanding of vulnerability management. Familiarity with regulatory requirements and frameworks (ISO, PCI, SOX, HIPAA, NIST, COBIT, GDPR). Knowledge of information security policies, standards, and processes. Understanding of end-user computing tools, hardware, application software, network, communications, and mobile technologies. Experience with security technologies (firewalls, IDS, IPS, encryption, IDAM, SIEM). Experience in GRC disciplines and implementing security policies. Strong communication and relationship-building skills. Proficiency in technical writing and using remote collaboration tools (MS Teams, SharePoint). Desirable Skills: Certification in CISM, CISSP, CISA, CRISC, or equivalent. Experience with NIST, ISO, or other industry standards. Proficiency in German, Spanish, or Portuguese. Experience using GRC tools (Archer, Lockpath). Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley, GDPR, and IT General Controls. Practical experience in network administration, systems administration, SDLC/secure software, encryption, asset management, identity and access management, audit, governance risk & compliance, IT operations, or security risk management. Qualifications: Minimum of 3+ years of experience in security or IT/OT. 2+ years of experience in a GRC discipline. SANS 401 certification.
