Face to Face is mandatory Role: UI Developer Location: Oakland, CA/ Hybrid Long Term Contract Visa: No opt and cpt Job Description: Work with business users and other developers to understand, evaluate, and document their User Interface needs. Work with technologies such as React, Angular, and node.js. Synthesize real user feedback into prototypes and solutions. Turning product requirements into concrete design specifications. Collaborate and communicate effectively with the UI and other technology teams to ensure intended experiences are carried through. Become a subject matter expert with the ability to understand the latest architecture, technology, solution, market trends, competitive offerings. Build prototypes to test (internally and through user research) and refine solutions while working with the design team. Advocate proper usability and design principles while working on projects. Monitor performance, develop quality control plans, troubleshoot design issues, and identify enhancements. Support and follow the CICD process for stability and quality of releases for an enterprise-scale web application in the cloud. Support and follow common software development workflows like Agile. Skills: 5 years of demonstrated experience in creating and implementing cutting-edge User Interface development in JavaScript with a modern MVC framework. Expertise in the design and development of websites using HTML, CSS, ReactJS, Angular, and comparable languages/front-end libraries. Expertise in building JavaScript libraries and frameworks. Experience with building, deploying and supporting an enterprise-scale web application in the cloud. Familiarity with REST APIs. Experience in a source control system like Git, and project management tools such as JIRA. Understanding of common software development workflows like Agile. Experience in developing wireframes is desired but not mandatory. Nice to have experience in web development conforming Web Accessibility Guidelines (WAG). Education: Possession of a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in MIS, Computer Science, or a closely related field. Nice to have a UI/UX Developer certification.
