| Hi, We have a great opportunity with one of our clients. We are looking for a Senior QA Tester. I believe your profile and skill set are compatible with this opportunity. Title: Senior QA Tester State: Salem, Oregon Description Individuals in this position have demonstrated experience in leading small to moderate-sized testing teams. They understand the concepts of software quality assurance theory and practice. Can formulate testing strategy and plans where none may exist previously. They can communicate effectively with business and technical teams on testing activities and can assist developers with test-driven development. May require a bachelor's degree and at least 9 years or equivalent experience in a related area. Project Overview The project is released in two phases; phase 1 will provide a taxpayer and county web portal for industrial property tax returns with a go-live date of 1/1/2025 and phase 2 will provide appraisal/inspection functionality with a go-live date of 5/19/2025. This project is a legacy application modernization, as the original system was developed over 20 years ago. There is also a large Organizational Change Management component as this represents a business process transformation and a new leading-edge technology skill set needed for IT. This project uses PMBOK, and the software development lifecycle is Agile. RSM is the solution vendor implementing the solution, and there is a DOR IT and Program (end users) team as well. Required skills and qualifications. Proven work experience in software development Proven work experience in software quality assurance Deep knowledge of quality assurance terminology, methods, and tools Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills Proficiency in best practices for testing, version control, and defect management Experienced in test automation. Understanding of agile/scrum methodology and how QA functions within it Experienced in Dynamics 365 or equivalent tools. Experience in Azure DevOps or equivalent tools. Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
