Type 12+ months contract Location Texas Overview As a Project-Fabrication Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of a key project within our organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that the project is delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record of successfully managing projects from initiation to closure. Responsibilities 1. Project Planning Develop detailed project and fabrication plans outlining project objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements. Work with stakeholders to define project scope and requirements. Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. Manage a $40-50 million size project. Oversee third-party fabrication shop activities. Create and manage project budget. Create and manage project schedule. Interface with management and client. 2. Project Execution Lead project teams, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery. Monitor project progress, track key milestones, and address any issues or deviations from the plan. Coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure alignment and timely decision-making. Manage project budgets and resource allocations. 3. Stakeholder Management Communicate effectively with project sponsors, stakeholders, and team members to provide regular updates on project status, risks, and issues. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather feedback and incorporate changes as needed. Resolve conflicts and facilitate consensus among team members and stakeholders. 4. Quality Assurance Implement quality assurance processes to ensure that project deliverables meet established standards and requirements. Conduct regular reviews and evaluations to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions. 5. Change Management Anticipate and manage changes to project scope, schedule, and budget effectively. Assess the impact of changes and communicate implications to relevant stakeholders. Implement change management processes to minimize disruptions and ensure project success. 6. Documentation and Reporting Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, status reports, meeting minutes, and other relevant records. Prepare and present regular project reports to stakeholders, highlighting progress, achievements, and areas of concern. Capture lessons learned and best practices to inform future projects.
