Role - Dataiku Developer Location - St. Louis, MO, 3 days a week onsite ( remote tuesday and friday) Duration: on-going contract Timeline: interviews start next week Comp: We have the heads up, not in FG, and havent talked to anyone else yet Preference is to be in Saint Louis - in the office Monday, Wednesday & Thursday and work remotely Tuesday & Friday. Team info: This is Charters Data Analytics team. They take requests from across the org and currently build Tableau and Alteryx dashboards. They are moving some of their Alteryx work to Dataiku, and dont have anyone the team that currently knows it. They are seeking a Developer or Data Scientist to help migrate the existing workflows from Alteryx to Dataiku, and also create new workflows in Dataiku. Not seeking a SME, but someone with around a year of experience that can also help train the existing team. Its not required, but the selected candidate must be willing and able to learn Tableau, as some of their existing work will still be done in Tableau. If they dont already know it, they must be willing to learn it. Job details: 2-6 years of experience writing complex SQL queries to pull data. Team uses multiple DB technologies including SQL Server, Oracle, and Hive etc. Experience working in agile team and using Jira. Familiarity with scrum processes is desirable Ability to communicate with business users effectively is desirable Description Must have specialized skill listed under specializations tab. Follows company software development lifecycle to design, code, configure, test, debug, and document system and application programs. Assists in preparing technical design specifications based on functional requirements and analysis documents. Reviews functional requirements, analysis and design documents and provides feedback. Collaborates with other development staff to achieve quality and consistency. Participates in architecture, design and code reviews. Develops and maintains operational and system level documentation.
