Position: EDM Developer (Golden Source) Location: Whippany, NJ Duration: 12+Months Experience: 6-8yrs Note: Please Do Not Submit CPT, OPT, H4 Job Description: Responsibilities: Design, develop, and implement Enterprise Data Management (EDM) solutions with a focus on establishing a Golden Source repository for critical organizational data. Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and define data governance policies and standards. Implement data quality processes and controls to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data stored in the Golden Source repository. Integrate data from multiple sources into the Golden Source repository, ensuring data mappings, transformations, and validations are implemented effectively. Develop and maintain data models, schemas, and metadata definitions to support the Golden Source repository and associated data management processes. Work closely with IT infrastructure teams to ensure the scalability, performance, and reliability of the Golden Source infrastructure. Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for Golden Source-related issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve data-related issues promptly. Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and best practices in data management, EDM, and Golden Source technologies, and make recommendations for continuous improvement. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. Proven experience in developing and implementing Enterprise Data Management (EDM) solutions, with a focus on establishing Golden Source repositories. Strong proficiency in database technologies such as SQL, Oracle, or SQL Server. Experience with data modeling, data integration, and data quality management tools and techniques. Solid understanding of data governance principles, data standards, and regulatory requirements. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex data issues. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders. Preferred Skills: Experience with EDM/Golden Source platforms such as Informatica MDM, IBM InfoSphere, or similar.
