Role: Business Analyst (EDUCATION DOMAIN) (10+ YEARS OF EXP) Location: Madison, WI (REMOTE AFTER RELOCATION) Duration: Long Term Client: State of WI (Direct client) Rate : $50/hr on c2c. NOTE: LOCAL TO WISCONSIN OR ANY STATE CLIENT EXPERIENCE Top Skills (3) & Years of Experience: Experience with performing data discovery, analysis, modeling, and transformation, Experience with data warehouse analysis and specification development (e.g. Oracle DB, Snowflake and discovery/governance platforms, MS Purview, or equivalent) Nice to Have: Ability to create reports, dashboards and visualizations to help others understand business performance, Understanding of University operations related to research, teaching and learning, outreach and administration. Examples of functional work group: data warehouse teams, other business analysts, services teams who are doing data integrations. Required Qualifications Excellent communication skills that effectively present findings to stakeholders, improve productivity, and coordinate updates with multiple stakeholders Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, including the ability to write clear and well-structured business requirements and documentation Experience performing data discovery, analysis, modeling, and transformation Experience with data warehouse analysis and specification development (e.g. Oracle DB, Snowflake and discovery/governance platforms, MS Purview, or equivalent) Preferred Qualifications Can create reports, dashboards and visualizations to help others understand business performance Understanding of document/file and knowledge management Understanding of University operations related to research, teaching and learning, outreach and administration. Examples of functional work group: data warehouse teams, other business analysts, services teams who are doing data integrations. Experience working with data and software engineers.
