Role: Sr. OBIEE Developer Location: Menands, New York Duration: 30 Months Job ID: SLG - 19 - 9516 Client: NY State Respond by Date: 05/24/24 5:00 PM Description OMH submitted an RFP to solicit vendor proposals and bids to procure a new vendor managed/hosted Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. The new system will replace OMH's legacy EHR systems MHARS and VISTA which are managed and supported by ITS. To support OMH's transition to a new vendor EHR system, ITS will need to modify legacy interfaces and data integrations, map and convert MHARS and Vista data to the new EHR, build a new EHR data warehouse, as well as complete several projects deemed critical by OMH to ensure readiness and preparation for the EHR implementation. Serve as an umbrella project to multiple EHR sub-projects connecting them all together as a single package of work to ensure the high-level objectives of the EHR Project Charter are achieved through the complementarity of the various projects. Duties Work as a liaison among stakeholders to elicit, communicate and validate the requirements for changes to current business reporting requirements and policies for the development of new operational reports and analytics. Conduct data analysis of business and user needs and developing business requirements documents in accordance with the requirements and protocol of the ITS EIM Division during multiple project phases to convert the numerous Oracle Portals, Business Areas, and Discoverer Workbooks to the current Oracle analytical reporting platform. Create business documentation (Business Requirement documents, use cases, swim lanes, process documentation) that detail the Business Intelligence reporting requirements and deliverables for OBIEE reports, dashboards, and ad hoc tools. Work closely with Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence technical team members and various OMH Business Owners to create Business Requirement documentation and to communicate the business requirements to the technical team for development of logical and physical dimensional data model reporting requirements. Collaborate with data modelers, ETL developers, programmers, and the business owners to translate report requirements, provide clarification of business rules, prioritize development, obtain signoff, and ensure successful delivery of accurate end user reporting requirements. Create and execute test scripts, scenarios, and test plans to validate initial business requirements and report output through the DEV, QA and PROD migrations testing for accuracy and sign off on deliverables. Assist in providing training & end user support for OMH staff utilizing the OBIEE Analytics tool. Mandatory Requirements Experience (11+ Years) Business Analyst, analyses an organization or business domain (real or hypothetical) and documents its business or processes or systems, assessing the business model or its integration with technology with distinct deliverables to a solution. Requirements This is an 100% Onsite 84 Months Experience with business intelligence tools to design reports, or data analysis business solutions for operational reports. 84 Months Experience in quality assurance testing of reports, SQL analytics, managing defects, development of report user acceptance documents including test plans. 60 Months Experience soliciting report requirements, end user documentation development, specifically business reporting requirements documents (BRDs), use cases, report mock-ups, wire frames, and flow diagrams. 60 Months Experience with all phases of support specifications development including design, testing and maintenance of reports. 60 Months Experience in OBIEE 12c Business Intelligence tools and data analytical background. 60 Months Development of end user training materials for use of OBIEE Analytics, OBIEE Dashboards, and/or Business Intelligence or application reports. 60 Months Experience developing and implementing system and work-flow processes in an OBIEE/Business Intelligence environment.
