| From: Divakar Kumar, NSD International [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Request Title: L2 Network Deployment Engineer Desired Start Date: ASAP Duration: 8 Months, Hrs/Wk:40.00 Work Location: Jacksonville, FL (hybrid onsite, 2-3 days weekly) Description: Note: Resources need to have Strong Networking Route Switch experience and also experience with design and documentation in Visio (or similar product). Current expectation is hybrid onsite (2-3 days weekly) in Jacksonville, FL. Prior Banking/Financial Services experiences is highly desirable. Previous experience in complex global environments highly preferred. Minimum of 5 to 8 years industry experience in networking environment; Certified technical engineer (typically Cisco CCIE or comparable); In-depth hands on experience with common network hardware including F5 Load balancer, Cisco router, switches, firewalls etc., together with other preferred technologies; Excellent technical ability to plan and build new network environment; Excellent technical ability to prepare, document and deploy changes in a network; Technical ability to understand the issues related to day to day operations; Full understanding of ITIL and service management principles; Excellent ability to follow documented deployment processes; In-depth and hands on experience in complex LAN/WAN, MAN, DWDM, SONET architecture; Full understanding and operational knowledge of loop prevention protocols like spanning tree protocols; In-depth knowledge of L2 protocols like HSRP, VRRP, VTP, 802.1Q, Flex Link, LACP, etc.; In-depth working knowledge and troubleshooting of IP routing and network protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, RIP, spanning tree, multicast etc.). Full understanding of operational knowledge for troubleshooting of Cisco operating systems like IOS and NX-OS; Good ability to analyse and troubleshoot network issues with a network sniffer like Wireshark; In-depth working knowledge of IPT implementation and troubleshooting; Full understanding of firewalls & different deployment architecture; Complete understanding of network security concepts; Strong understanding of sniffer & how to use the sniffer for troubleshooting purposes; Complete understanding of proxy servers and virus walls scan engines Strong experience with change request management systems; Strong experience with network monitoring / management tools/ analysis tools; Competence with testing tools and procedures for voice and data circuits; Strong experience with liaising with carriers and vendors for installations Service management expertise and ability to manage, improve service levels; Excellent analytical skills to evaluate problem Strong technical ability to troubleshoot and solve highly complex IP networks and hardware Able to conduct research into networking issues and multiple products Strong communication skills, fluent in local language and English (written/verbal) Strong interpersonal skills Excellent team worker, able to work in virtual global teams in a matrix organization -- -- Thanks & Regards..
