| From: Tejasree Echuru, Itbrainiac [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Fast moving roleApplication-Integration Architect Location: (Dallas preferred) Remote till Covid Role Purpose: The lead Integration Architect works as an overarching technical leader guiding all integration approaches/design work across the transformed BSS systems stack. He/She works as a part of the Programme Architecture team and guides/supports to define all integrations/ interfaces, to design and deliver complex custom product and solutions, working collaboratively with the project team, key business representatives and all the impacted design teams to produce/own the Integration architecture/interface design. Experience: 12+ Years including 3-8 years in creating Integration Architecture & Design, in Telecom BSS domain especially one or more of Marketing Management, Channels- Lead to Order, Order to Activate, Billing and Charging, Trouble to resolve. Skills required: MUST: 12+ Years of development/design experience with Telco (Wireless/Wireline) B2B/B2C business domain of which 8+ yrs of experience on integration design/development using at least two or more EAI product like WSO2 ESB, Websphere Integration Server, MSD, GTV etc. Proven ability to come up with Integration strategy for integrating legacy systems to new transformed systems via ESB/middleware Proven ability to come up with the integration strategy for integration external systems to company applications via API gateway. Design and development familiarity with different integration protocols like REST, XML/SOAP over HTTP, jms, streaming services, etc Ability to create high level/low level design for the integration architecture. Ability to understand the systems to be integrated including interfaces, data flows, etc Understanding the customer's businesses needs, system functionality and business processes to maintain the source data and develop the data design Ability to Support API life cycle management/Governance of exposed APIs Should have functional/technical knowledge of one/more BSS COTS product. Should have in depth knowledge of at least one COTS product like a Siebel, SFDC, OBRM, ARIA Billing, Comverse Rating/Billing, Convergys Geneva, Intec Singl.eView etc. Preferably be hands-on on one of one of these COTS products. Good understanding of wireless prepaid / postpaid business, BSS functions and Operations Good to have certifications like - TM Forum Frameworks: eTOM, TAM, SID and Integration Framework (TNA) and CMM/CMMI, or alternatively proven experience is required and conversant with standards like TMF Frameworx, TOGAF, SOA and leading enterprise architecture development for large production grade ICT solutions Experience delivering complex cross-functional, E2E Solutions in a telecoms environment Exposure to multiple and diverse technologies and environments. A good understanding of open source based technologies, micro services, event driven architecture. Excellent communication skills, able to facilitate technical workshops, and clearly communicate ideas and solutions through various means (written, presentation and in person), with both internal and external teams. Also able to explain complex issues to a wider business audience. Ability to interact, communicate with and build relationships with Senior Stakeholders (e.g. Heads of Dept., Directors etc). Good commercial acumen, Ability to influence business decisions. Strong technical architecture skills in one or more of the below will be an additional advantage: Java / J2EE, Microsoft .NET, full stack, MVC Microservices, Web services, REST, SOAP Understanding of Cloud environment AWS / Azure Understanding of traditional delivery (waterfall and agile) and DevOps tools Ability to guide and manage team of component Architects and Designers on integration approaches/building interfaces Key Responsibilities Works as an overarching technical leader guiding/owning all integration approaches/interface design work across the transformed BSS systems stack. (covering Marketing Management, Channels- Lead to Order, Order to Activate, Billing and Charging, Trouble to resolve) He/She works as a part of the Programme Architecture team and guides/supports to define all integrations/ interfaces, to design and deliver complex custom product and solutions Liase with stakeholders to explain and arrive at an agreed Solutions View. Create Solutions Architecture and Solutions documents as reference for software development. Ensure that the solution will support both the functional and the non functional requirements and will adapt to future changes in terms of changes in business processes, user requirements and the predicted growth of business. Ensuring maximum re-use of IT assets and services giving value for money, consistency of service, and reducing the costs of future changes. Drive and lead the reduced complexity in the current IT estate through identifying opportunities for decommissioning, consolidation of components, applications, integration technologies, data and hardware Define the principles and design patterns that guide integration decisions for the BSS stack, meeting our commitments around rationalisation and consolidation Lay down integration design guidelines and provide guidance during the design stage to ensure compatibility to the integration architectural guidelines.
