Kindly review the job description below and see if it might be an option worth considering Role : Sr. RMS Developer Location : Hybrid in Irving, TX Duration : 6 month contract to hire Visa: GC and USC , GC EAD Key Responsibilities: TECHNICAL Expertise in PL SQL Shell Scripting Oracle MFCS Supplemental Technical Exp: Fullstack Dev w experience in Java 8, 11 and 17 as well as Oracle. FUNCTIONAL Installing, configuring, and implementing Oracle Retail Modules (ERPs), specifically RMS / MFCS Cloud, to ensure seamless integration and functionality. Designing, developing, and maintaining custom solutions within the Retail Merchandising System (RMS), to optimize business processes and meet organizational needs. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze business needs, and translate them into technical solutions. Independently design application components based on requirement specifications. Participate in requirements discussions with business and suggest optimal and efficient technology solutions. Providing technical expertise and guidance on Oracle Retail Systems, including configuration, customization, and integration with other systems. Advanced Programming skills in modern languages e.g., Java, C, C++ etc Advanced Scripting skills in modern languages e.g., Javascript, Python etc Relational database experience with PL/SQL. Strong understanding of data storage and SQL design principles. Experience on UNIX/LINUX Platform Excellent understanding of coding methods and best practices. Developing and optimizing database procedures and packages using SQL and PL/SQL to enhance system performance and reliability. Creating and maintaining Oracle Forms and Reports to support GUI and Analytical requirements. Leveraging Pro*C, Unix Shell Scripting for automation and system integration tasks. Demonstrating full-stack development skills, with a focus on backend technologies including SQL and Java. Working independently with minimal oversight to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget constraints. Collaborating with stakeholders to understand requirements and provide technical recommendations and solutions. Required Skills and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 10+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on Oracle Retail Systems. Strong working experience with Oracle Retail Modules, particularly RMS / MFCS, MFP, RPM and RESA. Experience in installing, configuring, and implementing Oracle Retail Applications, specifically RMS. Proficiency in Oracle development tools and languages, including SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Pro*C and Reports. Extensive experience with Unix Shell Scripting for automation and system integration. Advanced Programming skills in modern languages e.g., Java, C, C++ etc Advanced Scripting skills in modern languages e.g., Javascript, Python etc Full-stack development experience, with a focus on backend technologies such as PL/SQL and Programming skills in Java. Nice to have experience with Blue Yonder Allocation Application. Ability to work independently with minimal oversight, while also collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams. Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications: Oracle Retail Certification(s). Experience with other BY/JDA Modules such as Demand Fulfillment, Space Planning and Floor Planning. Experience with other Oracle Retail Systems, such as Point-of-Service (POS) or Inventory Management.
