Wabash, Chicago Locals Only Anchor days: Wednesdays + 2 flex days Work hours: 8:30am - 5:00pm CST USC/GC/GC-EAD Only Project Overview: Has expertise in managing all phases of project from concept through implementation and maintenance. Contractor's Role: Overall responsibility for structuring a project, performing the detailed planning, and managing project execution and completion of moderate or large projects Experience Level: 3 Qualifications Strong analytical, communication and technical skills Candidate must have strong project management skills, and should understand various project methodologies, processes and standards Responsible for structuring a project, performing the detailed planning, and managing project execution and completion of moderate to large projects using a prescribed methodology Experience with Agile/SDLC and Waterfall/IPLC Methodology Defines the phase deliverables, tracks milestones and incurred expenses versus planned expenses, schedules roles and resources, evaluates risks and recommends contingency plans Assigns resources and tasks, and manages quality assurance, resolution of issues, status reviews and reporting, development of standards, change control, customer support, and compliance with all policies and procedures Candidate will be responsible for project documentation, project schedule, meeting agendas, minutes, status reporting, etc. Candidate should be familiar with technology infrastructure (Servers/Storage/Network) as well as MS Office, MS Project and SharePoint, PPM Clarity a plus, Microsoft 365 Tasks & Responsibilities: > Defines the phase deliverables, tracks milestones and incurred expenses versus planned expenses, schedules role sand resources, evaluates risks and recommends contingency plans > Assigns resources and tasks, and manages quality assurance, resolution of issues, status reviews and reporting, development of standards, change control, customer support, and compliance with all policies and procedures > The individual should be competent in all areas of project management > Leading, planning, managing and directing a project team to accomplish the objectives of a project with limited, local objectives > Develops project plans with assigned tasks, milestones/deliverables and oversee budgets > Collaborate with Infrastructure /Application Teams to determine best methods to meet project objectives > Reports changes in project timelines, resources, or budget > Report risks and issues during the life of projects and create mitigation plans to remove any obstacles > May take part in auditing documentations of their peers > May provide coaching to Jr. Project or Project Coordinators > Defines the phase deliverables, tracks milestones and incurred expenses versus planned expenses, schedules role sand resources, evaluates risks and recommends contingency plans > Assigns resources and tasks, and manages quality assurance, resolution of issues, status reviews and reporting, development of standards, change control, customer support, and compliance with all policies and procedures > The individual should be competent in all areas of project management.
