In this role, you will be pivotal in establishing our Azure offerings, focusing on Identity and Cosmos as core pillars. As an Azure Cloud Engineer, you will play a vital part in setting up our environment, migrating clients from other identity providers, refining our checklists and documentation for Azure AD B2C and Azure Cosmos, ensuring adherence to best practices. Moreover, you will collaborate with the Identity manager to automate processes for scaling up and tearing down Azure AD B2C environments. Join us and contribute to shaping our Azure infrastructure with your expertise. What youll do: You will help formalize processes into documentation for scaling up and tearing down Azure AD B2C, Cosmos DB, and other Azure Entra offerings. You will be key to developing and maintaining the Identity software that integrates our internal systems for a seamless user experience. You will configure the necessary Azure Entra services to meet PCI-DSS requirements. You will design custom policies in Azure AD B2C that reflect the needs of our clients. You will build APIs and Webhooks to make our Identity products accessible to other services. You will utilize Microsoft Graph API to create resources in the appropriate Azure services. You will integrate with Amazon, Facebook, Apple, and other identity providers. You will update DNS records for custom domains and test the propagation. You will customize various parts of the UX to match each brands standards. You will share your knowledge with your peers and learn from them. You will implement solutions to prevent DDOS attacks and other malicious uses of our Azure Entra services. You will configure our Azure Cosmos DB, App Service, Front Door, and other Azure services following the Well-Architected Framework. You will create collections in Azure Cosmos DB for NoSQL for each of our clients and isolate the access to them You will create necessary partitions, indexes, and make performance recommendations that optimize throughput in Azure Cosmos DB for NoSQL You will implement back-up processes in Azure Cosmos DB for NoSQL to ensure data is not lost You will secure access to data stored in Azure Cosmos DB for NoSQL and implement policies to ensure best practices are followed You will develop solutions to export user data from Azure Cosmos DB for NoSQL to comply with GDPR and other privacy laws You will optimize our caches so that access to the data expires regularly and predictably You will create alerts and monitor the utilization of our Azure Cosmos DB for NoSQL containers You will be responsible for coordinating with other teams as they install new versions and releases for existing system software products to verify consistent behavior. You will get to work closely with our security and DevOps teams to make sure best practices are followed. You will make recommendations for modifications of Identity resources based on careful analysis. Interacts in cooperative and professional manner, with all levels of employees, vendors and/or clients, in team environment. You have extensive experience with Azure AD B2C You have extensive experience with Microsoft Graph API You have extensive experience with Azure Cosmos DB for NoSQL databases You have extensive experience connecting Azure Cosmos DB for NoSQL, Azure App Services, Azure Firewall, and Azure Front Door You always follow the Azure Well-Architected Framework You have extensive experience configuring identity providers for Facebook, Google, Amazon, and Apple. You have experience with Python and scripting. You have enough experience with AWS Cognito to understand the parallels in Azure. You understand audit and compliance requirements to meet PCI-DSS standards for Identity. You take great satisfaction from partnering with members of DevOps and other Identity engineers to provide secure and stable environments for Identity applications. You enjoy being part of a team where you can both teach and learn from others. You have a bachelors degree in computer science or MIS and/or successful completion of equivalent technical courses in computer related field, or equivalent work experience.
