We are seeking an experienced Workday Test Manager to join the Ally ERP Transformation program to implement Workday FIN.  The ideal candidate will be responsible for program testing efforts and support the Testing Workstream.  The candidate will report to the HCM/FIN Technology Director & Test Lead. 

This role will collaborate with the ERP Systems Integrator, ERP Functional and Technical workstreams, Kainos Automation Testing vendor, existing Workday HCM Business and Technical Release team, and Allys Testing CoE to drive testing (all phases of Workday implementation, automation, and regression testing).  The candidate will support test design, test case creation, test automation, and test execution. They will also be responsible for test management for governance, communications, test phase entry / exit criteria, defect and metric reporting, etc.

Key Responsibilities
Responsible for the entire test cycle, which will involve multiple phases, including Smoke, Unit, End-to-End, Regression, Integrations, Parallel, Data Conversion, and UAT, until the Sign-off of each phase. Align with the systems implementation partner, to manage and report the status of overall program execution and facilitate the execution of the test strategy and end-to-end test management. Plan and coordinate to ensure all testing activities are executed within the integrated project plan timeline. Collaborate closely with workstream leads, planning the test phases execution, scope, effort estimation, and risk management. Responsible to onboard Workday FIN to the Kainos test automation suite (SmartTest, SmartShield, SmartAudit).  Includes coordinating with the Workday HCM Automation Testing Lead to integrate HCM and FIN on a shared automated testing. Responsible for establishing processew for FIN regression testing within the Kainos SmartTest for the ERP Transformation program and on-going governance between FIN and HCM post-program deployment. Coordinate and ensure testing resources are aligned on scope, timing, and procedural expectations for every test cycle, including those needed to prepare and accomplish testing. Secure agreement from and coordinate with the program team on test environments, expectations and resources.   Support each test phase's entry and exit criteria, including formal approval from all relevant stakeholders, reporting and signoffs. Perform the defect management process, including strategy, triage, reporting, and resolution. Responsible/coordinates regression testing of impacted systems.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) majors or 4 additional years of related experience beyond the minimum required may be substituted in lieu of a degree.   AND, 2+ years of software development experience utilizing one or more of these development languages (Java and/or JavaScript) with experience using one of the following REST frameworks: Jersey or RESTEasy
