| Manufacturing Engineer Boston, MA/ Chaska, MN (Local Candidates Only) Rate: $50/hr on C2C JD: Duties Mechanical design of vacuum units, chambers, transfer systems, etc. for semiconductor and FPD manufacturing equipment Main Duties Detailed design from specification study for new equipment development and improvement of existing equipment Research and development of equipment (concept determination, prototyping, and demonstration) Mechanism design and piping design of existing equipment Selection of parts and control devices, and technical review Preparation of assembly instructions for manufacturing processes, etc. Requirements (Must Have) Experience in Mechanical Design (Minimum 4-5years experience in Semiconductor manufacturing equipment industry) Experience in Etch and Surface cleaning equipment will be an added advantage. Requirements (Nice to have) Experience in design and development of semiconductor manufacturing equipment, machine tools, industrial machinery, robots, automotive-related equipment, etc. Experience in the semiconductor industry Knowledge of mechanics, material mechanics, fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, and experience in simulation analysis and system design Experience in vacuum, heat-related (chiller, etc.), gas supply and exhaust system development Knowledge of mechatronics Communication skills English skills The kind of person we are looking for is Highly motivated and ambitious to create new things Able to take initiative and independent contributor Highly motivated to learn and improve Consistent in orientation (including work history and reasons for changing jobs) -- Keywords: information technology Massachusetts Minnesota Manufacturing Engineer || Boston, MA/ Chaska, MN [email protected] |
