Length: 12 months - Contract to Hire Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Java/Spring Developer to join our team in Chicago, IL. This is a hybrid role, with 3 days onsite, providing an opportunity to collaborate closely with our dynamic team while enjoying flexibility. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in Java, Spring, Spring Boot, AWS, and Python, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions tailored to the financial services industry, particularly banking. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Proven experience as a Java developer with strong proficiency in Spring framework and Spring Boot. Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS. Proficiency in Python programming for scripting and data analysis. Experience working in the financial services industry, with knowledge of banking systems and processes preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with a proactive approach to teamwork. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment and manage multiple priorities effectively Responsibilities: Develop and maintain Java-based applications using Spring framework. Design, implement, and optimize scalable solutions leveraging Spring Boot for efficient deployment. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Utilize AWS services to build and deploy cloud-native applications, ensuring security, reliability, and performance. Integrate Python scripts and libraries as necessary for data processing and analysis tasks. Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure software quality and maintainability. Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in Java development, Spring framework, AWS services, and Python programming. Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.
