Job Title: Senior Atlassian Jira Architect Location: Madison, WI Contract Duration: 6+ Months. Top Skills (3) & Years of Experience: At least 2 years proven experience with complex Atlassian Cloud implementations. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices Experience in Identity Management setup (single sign on via Shibboleth), support for five main LDPs, license management, and system administration overview. Nice to Have: Experience in Higher Education or Government industry. Experience creating implementation plans. Job Description: Offer expert advice and guidance on best practices for using Atlassian tools. Work closely with UW team to understand and evaluate our existing infrastructure and business processes. Use knowledge of delivered products to identify areas of improvement and recommend solutions. Interface across several business areas, acting as visionary to proactively assist in defining the direction for future projects. Create a detailed implementation plan. Lead the migration process from our current setup to Atlassian Cloud Ensure data integrity and minimal disruption during the transition. Configure and customize Atlassian products (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket) as needed. Experience in Identity Management setup (single sign on via Shibboleth), support for five main LDPs, license management, and system administration overview. Collaborate with other team members to deliver high-quality solutions. Conduct Atlassian product demonstrations as needed. Provide ongoing support and training to UW JIRA project admin and users.
