(IBM Spectrum Protect and Oracle Zero Data Loss Recovery Appliance and VEEAM (future)); Backup Systems hold critical application backup data for Fare Collection, Maximo, Documentum, Cognos, Smart trip, OHAW, DFS Shares, PeopleSoft, SOA, Hyperion, BUS, Cleaver CAD, TRES, TGV Take part in enhancing and securing Enterprise Backup Solutions and data, working on below listed projects Enterprise Backup Application (IBM Spectrum Protect) server enhancements and upgrades Quarterly ISP client upgrades (as and when the patches are released by vendor) to meet the compliance requirements for patching Enterprise Backup Data migration from legacy TSM to ISP servers Quarterly AIX upgrades on ISP/TSM Servers Decommission legacy TSM servers Configure Quantum Scalar i6000 for new ISP Servers Decommission and destroy legacy LTO8 tapes Periodic Dell Unity storage systems firmware upgrades Design and implement airgap solution for enterprise backup data for cyber protection asper requirements from DMCS Automate IBM Spectrum Protect Client upgrades using Ansible. What You'll Need Required: As a Senior Solution Engineer to be focused on enterprise back-ups for its on-prem solutions in their data center AND their cloud solution.; They run a couple of backup solutions to meet their needs for business continuity. They are migrating from IBM Spectrum Protect to Oracles Zero Loss Recovery product. The ideal candidate will have experience with this migration path but a candidate that has used both should work as well. It is also important that the resource has experience in multiple operating systems (Windows, IBM AIX, Red Hat Linux) The other tools that are used include Dell Unity Storage and Oracle Recovery Manager (RMAN). A critical component of the backup function to adhere to the chain of custody of PCI data associated with credit card transactions for loading fare cards.
