Earliest Start Date : ASAP Type: Temporary Project Estimated Duration: 12 months with possible extension(s) Requirements: Availability to work 100% of the time at the Clients site in Juno Beach, FL (required); Experience as a Project Estimator within field engineering, and construction management (3+ years); Estimating or construction experience on large, heavy civil projects in the power market sector (5+ years); Solar experience; Valid driver`s license. Preferred: Experience in renewables; Bachelor's Degree in the following Fields of Study: Engineering Mechanical, Engineering Civil, Construction Science, Construction Management Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Prepare capital cost estimates; Review designs and specifications for cost-effectiveness and suggest alternatives, when appropriate; Coordinate with other departments, ensuring understanding of project objectives and efficient utilization of resources; Review layouts, designs, and specifications for cost-effectiveness and suggest alternatives, when appropriate; Remain current with technology and industry evolution, assuring that capital estimates anticipate the correct market conditions; Establish, build, and implement metrics for cost and construction estimate checks; Mentor and develop junior members of the team; Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
