Requirement : .Net Developer / Accessibility Developer Position: Accessibility Developer Location: Remote Interview Type: Either WebCam or In Person Interview JD: Client is actively seeking a dedicated .Net Developer specializing in Accessibility to join Application Development team. This crucial role supports the launch of a major initiative aimed at enhancing accessibility features, allowing enhanced interaction with public service websites. Ideal Candidate Profile: - Skills in WCAG: Must have a thorough understanding of WCAG guidelines. - Testing and Documentation: Capable of conducting both manual and automated tests to verify accessibility compliance and documenting the findings. - Reporting: Skilled in creating detailed reports outlining accessibility discrepancies and suggesting remedial actions. - Communication and Teamwork: Possesses stellar interpersonal, written, and presentation communication skills and thrives in a collaborative and innovative team setting. - Work Environment: This position allows for remote work throughout the standard workweek hours. Essential Technical Skills: - .NET Technologies: Proficient in C#, ASP.NET, MVC, and .NET CORE; Minimum 4 years. - Database and ORM: Experienced in Entity Framework or similar ORM technologies; Minimum 4 years. - Frontend Development: Skilled in HTML/CSS, JavaScript, or jQuery; Minimum 4 years. - Development Tools: Proficient in Azure DevOps and version control with GIT or GitHub Enterprise; Minimum 2 years. - Testing: Experienced in automated unit testing; Minimum 2 years. - Agile Development: Proven background in working within an agile scrum framework; Minimum 2 years. - SQL Expertise: Competent in TSQL and working with MS SQL Server; Minimum 2 years. - Additional Technologies: Knowledge of Bootstrap 4 or newer, and TypeScript/Angular 6 or above is required; Minimum 1 year. - Accessibility Tools: Familiarity with accessibility evaluation tools and assistive technologies such as screen readers, magnification, and read-aloud tools (e.g., VoiceOver, NVDA, JAWS, ZoomText, Dragon Naturally Speaking) is desirable; Minimum 1 year.
