All candidates are to work onsite 3 days per week and interviews process forthis role will be in-person ONLY and intensive and have heavy technicalinterviews in all required skill areas. Responsibilities Background and experience providing DevOps support to Clouddeployed Applications Strong experience in production support, for the applications inproduction or to be deployed into production A deep understanding and familiarity with: Linux, andWeb/Application servers - Apache, Nginx, Tomcat, etc. Deployment, automation, management, and maintenance of AWScloud-based production system Monitoring and logging systems CloudWatch, CloudTrail,Elasticsearch Networking knowledge - Firewalls, VPNs, proxies & Loadbalancers Ensuring availability, performance, security, and scalability ofAWS production systems. Experience with Python, shell or other scripting language Manages and maintains the hardware, software, security, andconnectivity to the Internet as well as middleware components Good understanding on User management, both for Windows andLinux machines. Integration with AD group on-prem, SSO would be good to have Software Development Fundamentals, Problem Solving,Documentation Skills, Verbal Communication, Application Maintenance,Application and System Security, Promotes Team Building and Process Improvement, SystemAdministration. Troubleshoots and resolves system service failures byidentifying and analysing the situation and provides corrective actions. Monitors systems activities and fine tunes system parameters andconfiguration to optimize performance and ensure security of systems. Monitor dailysystems, evaluate the availability of all server resources and carry out allLinux server tasks Provision ofcritical system security by leveraging best practices and prolific cloudsecurity solutions. Fault finding, analysisand of logging information for reporting of performance exceptions Proactivelymonitoring system performance and capacity planning Integrateautomated testing frameworks into the CI/CD pipelines to ensure code qualityand reliability. Implementblue-green deployments, canary releases, and other deployment strategies tominimize downtime and risk Manage,coordinate, and implement software upgrades, patches, hot fixes on servers,workstations, and network hardware Create andmodify scripts or applications to perform tasks Thoroughunderstanding of protocols such as DNS, HTTP, LDAP, SMTP, and SNMP Create andmaintain documentation related to system configurations and procedures Definition anddeployment of systems for metrics, logging, and monitoring on AWS platform.
