Job Role: Stress Engineer/Lead Location : Oklahoma City, OK (Onsite) Type: Contract Role Name Description: Domain Solid Mechanics, Material Behavior, Thermal Analysis, FEA, Stress Analysis Process and Regulatory Standards Aerospace Stress Analysis, FAA and JAA certification requirements Requirements and Design Failure analysis, finite elements, and methods of stress analysis, thermal effects, fatigue, and fracture mechanics. Design Validation Develop & perform tests (stress, temperatures, material characterization), interpret test results and calibrate analytical models; Tools FEA Stress Hand Calculations, Working knowledge of Solidworks Skill Description: Skill Area Description Proficiency Level Mandatory/ Desired Requirements and Design Define structural test requirements for laboratory and full-scale testing. Hand On Mandatory Analysis Understanding of external loads, load paths and free body diagrams, aerospace materials and manufacturing processes. Hands On Preferred Interface with Avionics Sub-Systems Ensure compliance to system requirements Hands On Mandatory Implementation ECO/ECN and Change Order implementation in PLM Expert Preferred Integration and Test Defect management, RRCA, FMEA, Change management and configuration control Hands On Desired.
