Position: Sr. AWS Cloud Platform Engineer Location: Fully Remote (Charlotte, NC or Detroit MI (Local Candidates only) Duration: 8 months contract (Possible Extension) Visa: Only USC/GC/H4 EAD Interview: Video/Skype Job Description: Responsibilities: Design and implement identity and access management (IAM) solutions for cloud-based systems and applications, ensuring secure access controls and user authentication mechanisms. Design, develop, and prototype cloud deployed services, APIs, and serverless applications using infrastructure as code (Terraform) to enable business capabilities in alignment with the architecture direction and standards. Implement and maintain role-based access control (RBAC) and attribute-based access control (ABAC) models for granular access management. Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and documentation related to IAM processes and best practices. Participate in an agile delivery process, and as part of that help size stories and own, research and recommend new solutions. Aid in implementation of monitoring using various tools, collection of metrics to enhance visibility & implement alerting to enhance service reliability. Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and documentation related to IAM processes and best practices. Being passionate about your work, your teammates success, and our customers needs. Must work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our cloud infrastructure adheres to industry best practices and regulatory compliance standards. Required Experience and Skills: Extensive experience with AWS - IAM Capabilities or security specialty Developer or Solutions Architect certification preferred; Automation/security Python or Golang API development; SQL Data Engineering (Dbt, airflow); Experience with HashiCorp Terraform & Gitlab; Must have excellent communication and coding skills Self-starter who will take initiative, able to lead, mentor and coach junior team members and help to build out functionality of program Best Regards Md.
