Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Technical Writer to join our team in Stamford, CT. The ideal candidate will have 6-8 years of experience in technical writing within the cybersecurity space, specifically with expertise in system security assessments and familiarity with NIST SP 800-53 controls. (Contract) Role: - Cyber Security Technical Writer Location: Stamford, CT Client is TCS Technical/Functional Skills Key Responsibilities Provide quality control and quality assurance review for technical security documentation. Execute data entry into databases and applications, develop and maintain complex schedules and project plans, and generate relevant reports. Analyze existing agency policies and assist in the development of technical security policies, processes, and plans. Plan, write, edit, and revise technical documents, including user manuals, general overviews, configuration/installation instructions, tutorials, test plans, and product specifications. Collaborate with a team of technical writers and facilitate communication with product and software development teams. Essential Skills and Experience 6-8 years of experience in technical writing within the cybersecurity field. Familiarity with system security assessments and NIST SP 800-53 controls. Strong background in technical writing for cybersecurity. Experience in quality control and quality assurance reviews. Proficient in executing data entry into databases and applications. Ability to develop and maintain complex schedules and project plans. Expertise in generating relevant reports and supporting the development of technical security policies and plans. Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with a team of technical writers and cross-functional teams.
