We are currently on a mission to reimagine and simplify the process of goals management for teams/individuals using the power of data (from other work-related systems) and AI. We are in the midst of building a brand new V2 version of the product from the ground up using the latest and greatest technologies. We are seeking a Principal Software Engineer who can help us on this journey of building a large-scale enterprise-ready product. As a key Principal Software Engineer in Viva Goals, you will be responsible for architecting, developing, and operationalizing of platforms and services that power various features and scenarios for our service. You will be building the next generation goals platform components and cutting-edge generative AI capabilities, building APIs, pipelines and connections with other M365 products/services, enable Substrate capabilities, and integrate smart Goals data into surfaces where users track and collaborate on work. You will closely partner with engineers and teams across Microsoft to leverage other Platforms and Frameworks; innovate with product and design teams to create user experiences; collaborate with Security and Trust teams to engineer compliance controls for adoption across a wide range of customers and regulated industries.
