Current needs are around senior engineers- tech leads that would be comfortably mentoring junior engineers and will have 3 scrum teams. 10+ years experience just not as an individual contributor but also as a hands-on tech lead JD: We are seeking an experienced Java Developer to join our dynamic team as a Tech Lead. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with a robust background in API development and a passion for mentoring junior engineers. You will be responsible for leading multiple scrum teams to support our customer service domain and build capabilities for frontline engineers. Key Responsibilities: Lead and mentor a team of senior and junior engineers across three scrum teams. Oversee the development and deployment of scalable microservices and data solutions. Drive the implementation of a speech-to-text engine capable of converting conversations into transcripts. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver Gen AI use cases including summarization and speech-to-text. Ensure robust API development and integration. Work closely with data and analytics teams to enhance servicing technology capabilities. Requirements: 10+ years of experience in software development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Proficiency in Java and extensive experience in developing APIs. Strong understanding of back-end server-side development, with no front-end responsibilities. Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and GCP services is a significant plus. Exposure to machine learning concepts is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills and the ability to mentor and guide junior engineers. Nice to Have: Experience with Python.
