For now they are focused on candidates that are in or around the Rosemead, CA Job Title:: Network Security Engineer Duration:: 6+ months contract (Hybrid 1or 2 day onsite per week) Location:: Rosemead, CA ( Los Angeles, CA) MOI:: Virtual interview POSITION OVERVIEW The Network Security Engineer resides in the Grid Services department within Information Technology. As a Network Security Engineer, you will provide security operational analysis and support for critical data infrastructure to ensure that the Organizational Units adhere to the appropriate Security IT Standards and Direction. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Five (5) years of experience in the field of IT Security. Experience using security infrastructure equipment including firewalls, Intrusion Prevention Systems, Web Application Firewalls. Experience in Networking/Network Operations. DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelors degree in engineering, Computer Science, Business, or Technical Discipline. CISSP certification, preferred. Palo Alto Networks Firewall experience, preferred. Demonstrated experience in Proxy technology. Demonstrated experience in InfoBlox (DNS, DHCP, DNS, RPZ, IPAM) Demonstrated experience in NAC ForeScout. Demonstrated experience in ICS Toolsets Dragos, ICX Demonstrated experience in Ciscos ISE Solution Demonstrated experience in CoreLight NDR Demonstrated experience configuring, tuning, and performing in-depth analysis in Security and Security related tools. Experience with implementation of policies and procedures for compliance and audits. Demonstrated experience in a Security Information and Event Management System (SIEM). Demonstrated operational experience with advanced firewall features; Data Filtering, Application Control, Anti-Virus, and File Blocking. Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Visio.
